Coronavirus (COVID19) Updated Please Read In Full

As we are concerned and all aware that the situation around COVID 19 has escalated rapidly, our volunteers and athletes’ health & well being is of paramount importance to the club and takes priority over all other considerations. The Club Trustees met this afternoon (15th March) to consider our response to the current situation, recognising that advice and guidance is changing almost daily.
 

Results Round Up From Loughborough, Llanelli, Cwmbran, Cardiff, Brecon & Elsewhere

Saturday 7th March was the UK Inter Counties Cross Country Championships incorporating the final fixture of the British Cross Challenge Series at Loughborough. It was a tough course underfoot and equally tough opposition with most of the UK top cross country runners participating. It was great to see ten Swansea Harriers make the West Wales team, and here is how they all got on;

Results Round Up From Pembrey, Glasgow, Sheffield & Elsewhere

Saturday 22nd February were the Welsh Clubs Cross Country Championships for all age groups held at a windy Pembrey Country Park. Despite it being half term the club was still well represented across most age groups. Great team spirt was shown with plenty of individual and team medals won. Our scoring teams and medallists were;

Results Round Up From Cardiff and Margam Park x 2

The weekend of Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd February were the Welsh U13, U15, U17 & U20 Indoor Championships held at Cardiff, it was great to see such a large turnout from the club. Many season and personal bests were set. Highlights included our overall top performer in each event as well as another large haul of 9 GOLD, 23 SILVER and 13 BRONZE medals won, all of which are listed below:

Saturday 22nd February sees the Welsh Cross Country Championships for all age groups at Pembrey Country Park, SA16 0EJ. Entries close at 12pm this Friday 14th February. However do not wait until then or your team manager will not have time to process your entry for you.
