Results Round Up From Cardiff & Exeter

The weekend of Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd February were the Welsh U13, U15, U17 & U20 Indoor Championships held at Cardiff. It wasn’t the largest turnout ever from the club in terms of overall entry numbers, however what we lacked in quantity we more than made up with in quality, along with invaluable championships experiences gained by all the athletes, and another hatful of medals won:

The weekend of Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th January were the Welsh Senior Indoor Championships incorporating some junior championship events held at Cardiff. It was a great weekend for the club with plenty of medals won as shown below;
 

Results Round Up From Cardiff & Eton

Sunday 6th January was the Welsh Athletics U13, U15 & U17 Junior Open Indoor Athletics meeting held at Cardiff, the fixture incorporated the West Wales Indoor 800m & 1500m junior championships. From a participation perspective it was fantastic to see an entry of over 100 children from the club, many of whom were getting their first ever experience of competitive athletics.

Swansea Harriers Annual Awards Evening

Swansea Harriers Annual Dinner & Awards Evening is being held on Friday 29th March at Swansea Marriott Hotel.
 
All club members, family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate the successes of the club and members over the past year. Awards to be presented during the evening include Best Senior and Junior Athletes, Gold Awards and the new Loyalty Awards.
 

Satellite Clubs For Year 4 & Below

Athletes must be in school year 5 and above to join Swansea Harriers. However there are a number of satellite clubs linked to us with partner organizations, that children can attend before progressing to the club. These sessions provide a grounding in fundamental running, jumping and throwing activities, making the transition to Swansea Harriers much smoother:
