Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers TOTALISER

Very many thanks to all  those of you who have donated vouchers to date, the club has already exceeded the 3000 vouchers mark! Swansea Harriers are collecting Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers. Vouchers can be handed in when you pay your Training fees.There is a box in the club cafe where they can be placed on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Vouchers can be accepted up until 22nd May. The more vouchers we collect the more or bigger the item of equipment we can obtain.

Off Track Fixtures Continue

With the track and field league, cup and championships season in full swing, don't forget that the the year round off track events still continue. There are 3 popular local events coming up over the next few weeks:

Tuesday 15th May sees the Swansea Bay 5k and U15 1 mile races at Blackpill you can enter in advance or on the night, click here for details.

Results Catch Up (Birmingham, Llanelli and USA)

Sunday 28th April saw Chris Gowell set a personal best and a 2014 Commonwealth Games B standard for the 1500m (3.40.39) at Palo Alto, California USA, his time was very close to the club record too, well done Chris on such a fantastic time.

U13 & U15 Youth Development League @ BS34 8LP

Saturday 4th May sees the U13 & U15 team make their way to Kip Keino Stadium located at the South Gloucestershire and Stroud College  WISE Campus, New Road, Stoke Gifford BS34 8LP in Bristol for the newly structured Youth Development League. Just as with the U17 & U20 team they are in the Premier 1 Division where the level of opposition will be exceptionally tough as the U17 & U20 discovered last weekend.

Results Round Up From (London, Llanelli & Cardiff)

Saturday 20th April saw round 1 of 4 in the Welsh U17, U20 & Senior League at Cardiff. The main highlight on the day was a new club record in the U17W 200m where Hannah Brier set a time of (24.81) breaking the league record too in the process, well done Hannah, her time of (11.72) in the 100m was aided by a strong tail wind so unfortunately doesn't count as a club record too.
