Records continue to be broken, and a new club records board for the club cafe will be much amended at the end of the season which has less than a month to go. Will any more records be broken? Since July 1st another 5 all time new club records have been set by:

There have been many results to catch up on from the Brecon 10, Gerald Codd Trophy Match, Celtic Games, Olympics, West Wales U20, Welsh Masters League and Neath Harriers Open Meeting incorporating the Welsh 3000m Championships. Read on for more details.

British Mens League, England Athletics Championships & Welsh Junior League Cup Final

It's another busy weekend for the club with 3 key fixtures. Saturday 18th sees our Senior Mens team in their 4th and final league match of the season at home. Please come along and give them your support, Click here for a timetable of events. Entry is FREE for spectators.

Very many congratulations to U20M Joshua Griffiths who has been selected for the Aviva Great Britain & Northern Ireland team World Mountain Running Championships in Valle Camonica, Italy on 2 September. The very best of luck to Joshua from everyone at the club! Click here for the full team

David Greene; Still Swansea Harriers Athletics Hero

It was another very close one but not quite close enough; no doubt you all watched the race, David Greene ran yet another world class time of 48.24 but it was 0.2 away from a Bronze medal in the Olympic 400m Hurdles final. David has been fantastic at the games and 4th place still makes him our number one athletics hero and one of the best hurdles in the world.

Welsh U17 U20 & Senior League Champions 2012 including a new club record and Katherine Morris U17W Welsh Heptathlon Champion

David Greene wasn't the only club athlete in action this weekend. A small team made the very long journey and early start to Colwyn Bay to win the Welsh U17, U20 & Senior League title. Very many congratulations to all those athletes that have represented the club this season, it is another great reward in the clubs 50th anniversary year for the club to do so well.

Phew that was a close one!

David Greene ran another world class time to finish 4th in the first Semi Final of the 400m Hurdles in London with a time of 48.19 to make him the 7th fastest qualifier for the Olympic final on Monday at 8.45pm. Well done David you've done yourself really proud. The final is packed full of talent and anything can happen and we will all be cheering him on as loud as we can.

Celtic Games U16 & U18 International and U11, U13 & U15 Gerald Codd Trophy Match

 Saturday 11th July are the Celtic Games International for the U16 & U18 age groups @ Aberdeen. Very many congratulations to those athletes selected for the Wales team and the very best of luck to them;

Round 1

Despite a tough draw in the tight lane 1 David Greene did what he needed to do in round 1 of the 400m Hurdles running 48.98 to comfortably win his heat to qualify for the Semi Final. In what was an impressive run easing up at the finish. Make sure you have your TV's on Saturday for the semi final at 7pm.
