Can You Give Us A Little Help Please?

We would like to thank and express our gratitude to all of our loyal and dedicated volunteers, without whose support we wouldn't be able to provide all the opportunities for the 770+ members currently in the club, which is also the largest membership the club has ever had! As the summer season is now only a few weeks away, we are looking for some extra help for our coaches, officials, team managers and committee, for the club to continue to thrive and survive. If you can only help a handful of times a year it makes a huge difference to the club.
There are two up coming courses for coaching and officiating which we are looking for new helpers to attend outlined at the end of this article. Please speak to any of the volunteers on club nights who can explain to you how useful and practical the courses are.
In addition we are looking for an U11B team manager, all other age groups and genders have mangers who can’t wait to get started. The role involves selecting a team for the 4 Welsh Junior League matches, plus 2 Cup matches & being available on match days to give out numbers/collect entry fees.
Lots of help and support available from our experienced existing team managers. For further Information contact Wendy Slade or 07922 16 45 62
We are also seeking a volunteer to be tasked with being our officials coordinator for the 2018 summer season. The role requires a well organised individual and good communicator to help the club ensure we fulfil our officiating obligations for home and away matches. It is not a requirement to attend any events or even be an official yourself, you just need to make sure the club have provided enough officials/volunteers for each match, dependant on each leagues quotas. As a rule of thumb this is one timekeeper, one track judge and team of 3 to 5 field officials for away matches, in addition for home matches to provide a chief timekeeper, field referee, track referee and chief starter. If you are interested there is plenty of advice and support from the club, not least our very experienced officials team, please email club secretary Tony at if you can spare a little time each week to help us out.
