London Marathon 2017 Places Club Ballot

To take part in the Swansea Harriers Club Ballot for London Marathon 2017 places, you need to have been a paid-up member since MAY 1st 2016, and be able to provide proof that you were rejected via the National Ballot. Also we ask that you can commit to the training and cost involved.

If you want your name in the Club Ballot, and you fit the above criteria, please text Eamonn Kirk on 07751 03 39 77 with proof of your National Ballot rejection by no later than Friday 28th October.

The club has 2 guaranteed places this year. There will be a draw made out of a hat, probably in mid November. If your name comes up, you still have to pay for the race, but you'll have a guaranteed entry.

If you have met automatic qualification via Good for Age/Champs times, please enter that way later in the year. Swansea Harriers had around 20 entrants for 2016, 16 qualified via Good for Age/Champs, one via national ballot, one via a charity place, and 2 had Club ballot places. There were still 6 club runners who couldn't get a place, therefore club ballot slots are very valuable.
