Results Round Up

Sunday 21st October was round 1 of the cross country league at hot and sunny Newbridge Fields Bridgend, incorporated into the match was the West Glamorgan Cross Country Championships. In the league races there were top 10 individual placings for Nathan Jones 6th Novice Boys, Eluned King 4th Novice Girls, Elliot Lawrence 5th & Sam Martin 7th U13 Boys, Jonathan Tobin 2nd U17M, Lara Philippart 5th U17W, Dewi Griffiths 1st, Simon Jones 4th & Marc Hobbs 5th in the Senior Men and Alaw Beynon-Thomas 4th Senior Women. Very well done to all those who took part and it was great to see such a large turnout of entries in the juniors too, the Novice Girls even had an "F" team! Team wise the results are being double checked for the precise team scores in the juniors but it is the U13B who are setting the standard again this year who we believe are top of their table closely followed by the Senior Men and Novice Girls in 2nd and the Novice boys are in 3rd.
