Sunday 23rd June saw our U13 & U15 team in round 3 of 3 of the Youth Development League at another newly refurbished track this time in Yate. The squad collectively put in another great team effort to win the third fixture as well as the first two rounds, thus guaranteeing themselves a spot in the UK semi/regional finals on Saturday 20th July. How good is this squad, good enough to place top two on 20th July and go all the way to the UK final? We think so, but so are the 5 other teams they will be up against, who are equally talented, its going to be a nail biter! At Yate individual highlights included A string wins for:
U15B Dylan Morgan (38.6) 300m; Zac Davies (11.9) 80m Hurdles; William Trott (3.70m) Pole Vault; George Snaith (46.51m) Javelin; Tom Attwood, William Trott, Zac Davies & Dylan Morgan (2.50.1) 4 x 300m.
