Results Round Up From Cardiff & Elsewhere

Saturday 13th October at a very windy but thankfully dry Cardiff saw round 1 of 5 in the John Collins Gwent Cross Country League incorporating round 1 of the British Cross Challenge series. There was a great turnout from the club despite the weather warnings in all age groups which was great to see, our thanks to all those members who turned out for their club and to the team managers and coaches for getting them there. In this league the first 5 seniors across the line score points for the A team and the first 4 juniors for their A team. All of our runners are of equal importance, as those coming home outside of the A team score for our B teams, and hopefully stop the opposition A team runners gaining so many points for their clubs, so everyone and every place counts!
From a league perspective our scoring athletes were:

U11B 17th Callum Jones, 48th Saul Otteson, 53rd Danny Thomas & 63rd Ethan Jones. The team are 9th in the league.
