Saturday 15th July was round 3 of 4 in Division 1 of the British Mens League held at Bedford. After the great start in rounds 1 and 2 the team slipped to 6th place at Bedford, not quite the team performance they hoped, however the good news is that they still sit in 2nd in the league still well in the hunt for promotion to the Premiership. To achieve this we need all the team to make themselves available for the 4th and final crucial fixture at Manchester in August, which we know they are more than capable of doing. The level of competition at Bedford was very tough indeed with the only victory of the day coming in the 3000m B string form Guy Smith (8.22.02); all those present made great efforts to cover all the events with most of the team doing 2 or more events each. Lifetime bests were set by Kieron White (53.91) 400m; Dewi Griffiths (8.05.16) 3000m and Aled Price (12.08m) Triple Jump. Our thanks to all those present, click here for the full results.
