The main highlight of the week was on Sunday 14th July which saw not one, but two Swansea Harriers compete in the European U23 Athletics Championships at Gavle Sweden. Hannah Brier was part of the GB & NI 4 x 100m relay quartet that placed 5th in the final in a time of (44.54). Little brother Joseph Brier ran 3rd leg of the 4 x 400m to help the team win an awesome SILVER in (3.04.59) just behind Germany. Very many congratulations and adulations to both on these amazing performances, what are the odds of two siblings both gaining GB vests in the same championships?
