Results Round Up From Kenfig, Pembrey & Cardiff

Sunday 26th November was round 3 of 6 in the West Glamorgan Cross Country League held at a very chilly Kenfig Nature Reserve. In a tough multi terrain course there were some excellent performances not least from our senior ladies team who are on fire this season in the league so far, where our five scorers filled all but one of the top 6 places! Nearly new member Claire Bunce claimed her first league victory and was followed across the line by 2nd Hannah Munday, 3rd Helen Marshall, 4th Helen-Marie Davies and 6th Emily Marchant. When the league tables are revealed after this round they are bound to have extended their lead at the top of the table. In the mens race our first 5 runners home were 4th placed Will Munday; 6th Ifan Lloyd both having great runs to get into the top 10; 11th Craig Jones; 17th John Moran and 18th Wayne Bowen. In the mens league our seniors are spilt into 3 different teams, so it can be a bit tricky to tell which team they are scoring for at times, nevertheless our "TNT" runners should still be towards the top of the league tables. It was also most pleasing to see so many seniors out running for the club, our thanks to all those that were present. Click here for the full results.
