Sunday 6th November was the U14, U16 & U18 joint Welsh Schools and Welsh Clubs combined events championships held at Cardiff. There was a reasonable turnout from the juniors in the club, but could have been much better.

Nevertheless there was plenty of quality on show from Swansea, with the main highlights being U18M Michael Thompson winning BRONZE with a score of (3054 points) to hopefully gain a Welsh selection and on route set personal bests in the 200m (24.22) and 800m (2.26.74).

In the U18W Josie Sivak was our sole representative duplicating Michaels performance for BRONZE with (3035 points) and hopefully a Welsh vest too! Josie set personal bests in the 60m Hurdles (9.32) and Long Jump (5.23m).

In the U16 age groups unfortunately we just had the 1 girl and 1 boy again, but both performed excellently.
