Results Round Up From Llanelli, Bath, Neath & Elsewhere

Sunday 14th April saw the Llanelli Half & Full Marathons held in windy conditions, nevertheless there were still some good times set despite the headwinds. Over the half marathon distance among the 630 finishers our first 3 Men home were 13th Charles Walsh (84.30) followed across the line by; 22nd Sam Joseph (89.10) and 32nd Stuart Booker. In the Women we had just the two runners 121st Penney Kennedy (1.45.24) and 183rd Angela Delaney (1.51.43). Very well done to everyone who ran from the club, click here for the full results. Over the full marathon there were well over 500 finishers, we had just the two runners, and having a great run for 5th was Marc Davies (2.50.36) followed home by 126th Daniel Morgan (3.39.30), well done both click here for the full results.

Sunday 14th April was the Bath open meeting where a handful of our juniors traveled for some pre league season additional competition, our top performer in each age group and discipline were as follows;

Wednesday 17th April saw round 1 of 3 in the U11 & U13 Triangular series held at Neath, despite the Easter Holidays we still managed to get a good turnout of athletes in what was a great event. Our thanks to all those who made it to represent the club, the final match scores were; Swansea 208, Neath 123 and Llanelli 72, getting the league season off to a great start. Individually our overall top performer in each age group and discipline was:

U11G: Omolara Akinpelu (12.0) 75m; Libby Hale (2.45.6) 800m & (13.28m) Javelin; Millie Pierce (3.18m) Long Jump & (1.05m High Jump). 

U11B: Ruari Harris (11.2) 75m; Charlie Hill (2.46.6) 800m; Jack Edwards (3.47m) Long Jump; Preye Aganaba (14.79m) Javelin and Dexter Parrington-Hinds (1.00m) High Jump.

U13G: Olivia Mackey (14.3) 100m; Damilola Akinpelu (2.52.8) 800m; Bethan Holley (4.16m) Long Jump; Lily Ford (15.56m) Javelin and Matilda Quick (1.39m) High Jump.

U13B: David Ejimofor (13.8) 100m; Oliver Patterson (2.28.7) 800m & (16.88m) Javelin; Drew Dodd (4.08m) Long Jump and Connor Moriarty (1.33m) High Jump.
