Results Round Up From Newport, Manchester & Grangemouth

The weekend of Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th August saw the Welsh Junior Championships held at sunny Newport, in what was a great weekend of competition, but considering we are Wales largest athletics club the number of entries from the juniors was average and the club will be expecting a better showing in future championships from them, the championships being in the middle of the school holidays didn’t help boost entries though. However as usual those that did make the effort to compete did not disappoint coming home with a hatful of medals just short of 50 in total!!! Very well done and thank you to all those athletes who were there representing the club and to all our medal winners below, what a great set of results;
