Results Round Up From Samorin SLOVAKIA & Cardiff

Over the weekend of Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th December a number of fixtures were canceled or postponed due to the big freeze! However there were still some fixtures that went ahead:

The main highlight of the weekend was on Sunday 9th December at the European Cross Country Championships in Samorin SLOVAKIA where U20W Cari Hughes had an incredible run when representing the Great Britain & Northern Ireland team to place 9th and was the 2nd Briton home taking them to team GOLD! Very many congratulations to Cari from everyone at the club on this achievement. Dewi Griffiths was also in the senior mens team and unfortunately when in the leading pack during the race, had to withdraw with an injury, it is a shame as he has been in such great form, he would surely have been one of the favorites to get an individual medal.
