Results Round Up From Snowdonia, Dublin, Gloucester and Frankfurt

Saturday 27th October in what is most probably the UK’s toughest and scenic course held over the Marathon distance, climbing almost 1000m in elevation on route, was the annual Snowdonia Marathon in Llanberis. The club had no less than 15 finishers, with our first 5 men home as follows; 36th Raul Reismann (3.08.11); 80th Craig Jones (3.17.23) and a lifetime best!; 115th Daniel Newton (3.22.31) 152nd Robert Hughes and 170th John Moran (3.32.40) our sole female runner was 259th and 24th female overall Emily Marchant in (3.39.37). Sunday 28th October Joshua Griffiths has a superb run to finish 7th in the Dublin Marathon in his 2nd fastest ever time of (2.16.09) taking him to 2nd in the UK rankings to date with only an M Farah ranked in front of him! Sunday 28th October also saw Sian Edwards in a superb run to win the Gloucester 10k in a time of (34.50). Sunday 28th October saw a trio of Swansea Harriers run the Frankfurt Marathon in Germany, with Rachel Davies coming home first in (3.03.26), followed by Luticia Thomas (3.15.32) with a lifetime best and Llinos Jones (3.15.49).
