Wednesday 27th July was the third and final round of the U11 & U13 triangular series at home in Swansea, we would usually like to host this match in term time but due to the touch rugby we had to hold it at the start of the school holidays which resulted in about half the number of entries we’d usually expect. Nevertheless a great evening of athletics was held and the Swansea team managed to retain their title!! Very many thanks to all the athletes who represented the team over the three matches and to all the volunteers from all three clubs, despite the lack of athletes we had a unique occurrence where we had so many offers of help from volunteers we didn’t know what to do with them all which was a fantastic problem to have– may this long continue please!
