The weekend of Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th February were the England (UK) U15, U17 & U20 Indoor Athletics Championships held at Sheffield. Unfortunately there were no U15 or U17 athletes from the club present, but It was fantastic to see 6 of our U20 juniors achieve the very tough entry standards and compete against the best juniors the UK has to offer. It was another GOLD medal for Hannah Brier in the U20W 60m setting a winning time of (7.36); U20M Callum Davies progressed to the semi final of the 60m placing 7th (7.06); U20M Joseph Brier placed 2nd in his semi final in a time of (48.08) but did not participate in the final; U20W Lauren Williams progressed all the way to the final of the 400m in (57.91) to place 5th; U20M Rhys Harris was 4th in his 60m Hurdles heat (8.60) and there was a fine BRONZE medal from U20M Osaze Aghedo with a leap of (14.96m).
