Saturday 5th May saw our senior men’s team make their debut in the Premiership of the British men’s League for the first time in the clubs history. As expected the level of competition was exceptionally tough, this combined with a significant portion of the team being unavailable due to the clash with the British Universities Championships meant that the team placed eighth. However there were only 23 points covering the bottom five teams so there is no reason why they can’t turn this round with 3 matches still to go to retain their hard fought premiership status. There was just the one A or B string victory that came from Aaron Morgan in the B Javelin with a throw of (62.13m). Click here for the full results. Click here for the league table.
