Round 1 of 5 John Collins Gwent Cross Country League on Saturday 13th October at Cardiff, CF11 9QJ

Saturday 13th October sees round 1 of 5 in the appropriately renamed John Collins Gwent Cross Country League at Llandaff Fields, Cardiff, CF11 9QJ.

This is a league for all age groups and all abilities, so please come along and run for your club. We are permitted to enter an unlimited number of runners so everyone can take part. To save your volunteer team managers time and effort please get in in touch directly with them via the contact details below, anytime between now and race day, so that they know who to expect and not have to que at registration more than once.

Entry fees of £4 for seniors and just £1 for juniors, are paid directly to your team manager on the day, and they will enter the teams on block as athletes may not enter themselves individually at registration. Please report directly to the club tent no later than one hour before your race where you will find your team manager below;

Many hands make light work, please note that it would be most useful for the U11 teams to help Brian Fox put up the club tent and for the seniors and masters to help with take down.
For this fixture only which is incorporated into the British Cross Challenge Series round 1 for which entries for the Cross Challenge will only be taken by Fullonsport online here.
Athletes will have an option to indicate they also wish to be scored in the Gwent Cross Country League. These athletes should also notify their race number to their team manager.
Entering the Gwent League
Team Managers only will complete a team declaration sheet in the usual way. They should download and print the current declaration sheet online here. They will then be issued with race numbers for each of their team members.
The Gwent League registration team will issue numbers (containing the chip) to the Team Managers only. 
Team Managers will be asked to make a note of which athlete is to receive which number and the declaration sheet will then be returned to the registration desk.
Athletes will not be issued a finishing disc (for this fixture) at the end of their race. Times and positions will be recorded using the timing chip attached to the athletes race number.
