Sunday 7th April Atlas AV Swansea Harriers Track & Field Open Meeting

Sunday 7th April is the clubs annual track & field season opener for all age groups at home in Swansea kindly sponsored by the staff from Atlas AV. This event is a great introduction to athletics and is open to athletes of all abilities, our team managers also use this match to assist with their selections for the first round of Welsh & UK League fixtures. This year the club has gone "Hi Tec" with online entries, don't miss the closing date of 5pm Wednesday 27th March!

Registration is 1 hour before your first event.
In Long Jump, Shot & Javelin athletes are limited to a maximum of three trials each.
U11, U13 U15 & U17 athletes can enter a maximum of three events
U20 & Senior athletes can enter a maximum of 5 events
Under 11 = School Years 4 and 5 (Must be 9 on day of competition)
Under 13 = School Years 6 and 7
Under 15 = School Years 8 and 9
Under 17 = School Years 10 and 11
Under 20 = must be born on or between 01.01.00 to 31.08.02
Seniors = must be born on or before 31.12.00

Volunteers Needed:
We need to find a team of over 50 volunteers to ensure the day runs smoothly please.
If you are a UK Athletics qualified official or in the process of completing your log book from any club and would like to help please email our club officials secretary who will add you to the list of volunteers.
If you are a parent who can help at registration handing out numbers and pins, or can rake a sand pit, replace a high jump bar, collect a shot or javelin, help type up results in the announcers box to name a few of the areas we require support in, please email Jo Wood on or and they will add you to their list. You will be supported by our very friendly team of qualified officials who will look after you, in addition there will be copious amounts of tea and coffee provided for you as well as a free lunch!
