UK Womens Premier League, British Mens League Division 3 & National Young Athletes League UK Regional Finals

 The weekend of the 28th & 29th July is a crucial one for the club. . . .

Saturday 28th July the Senior Womens team have their 3rd and final league fixture in their debut season in the UK Women's Premier League at home in Swansea. The league table is very exciting if you are a neutral but not if your one of the team mangers or athletes from any of the bottom 5 clubs as any of them could be relegated in the final match. Therefore we will be looking for all the juniors to come along to the final match to cheer on and support the senior ladies to help ensure their survival in the toughest league in the UK the meeting is of a very, very high standard of athletics so is well worth coming along to watch and entry is free for spectators, click here for a timetable. UKWL Timetable.doc
Saturday 28th July also sees the Senior Mens team in round 3 of 4 in Division 3 of the British Athletics League at Derby, the team are doing very well in the league and will be looking to pick up a place or 2. Sunday 29th July the U13, U15 & U17 National Young Athletes League team have progressed once again to the UK Area Final at Stoke, where they are up against the top 7 clubs from Wales and the Midlands (Birchfield Harriers, City of Stoke AC, Cheltenham & County Harriers, Cardiff AAC, Rugby & Northampton AC, Notts AC & Nene Valley Harriers) The level of opposition will be exceptionally high and if the juniors wish to progress to the UK Main or Auxiliary Finals in Manchester in September they will need to try and finish in the top 4 places, it's a big ask but if they can field a full team they have a chance. It is a different timetable to the league matches, click here for details:- Amended timetable and field duties for Midland area final Stoke July 29th 2012 (1).xls This is the juniors priority league so please make every effort to make yourselves available to compete if selected by the team managers;
