Sunday 19th May see our U17, U20 & Senior/Masters team start their Welsh Athletics League campaign to try and defend their Welsh League Champions title from last year
at Neath, SA10 7BR.

Wednesday 24th April was round 1 of 5 in the Welsh Masters League held at home in Swansea. Fortunately the poor weather cleared and a great evenings athletics was held with over 60 athletes participating, including the Swansea Harriers masters out on mass as if they were in the 1980s and 90s again! Our thanks to all the volunteers who made the evening possible. Highlights included;

Sunday 12th May sees our senior mens team open their British League campaign at home in Swansea. Despite relegation from the Premier Division last year they still performed superbly well against the UK's top 8 clubs. This year they will be looking to bounce back up to the top division again of which they are more than capable of doing.

7pm Wednesday 15th May Swansea Harriers proudly presents the 22nd running of the Whitford Point 5.9 mile multi terrain race at Llanmadoc, SA3 1DB. One of the most scenic and varied races you can find.

Its fantastic to see so many opportunities next term for athletics in schools. With the Easter holidays a little later this year, the schools summer term athletics matches get underway as soon as the pupils are back in school, key fixtures are listed below. Go and speak to your PE teacher to be asked to be considered for selection for your school team.

Sunday 14th April saw the Llanelli Half & Full Marathons held in windy conditions, nevertheless there were still some good times set despite the headwinds.

Sunday 5th May sees round 1 of 3 in the U17 & U20 Youth Development League Premier South/West Division at home in Swansea.
