Swansea Harriers Annual Awards Evening

Swansea Harriers Annual Dinner & Awards Evening is being held on Friday 29th March at Swansea Marriott Hotel.
 
All club members, family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate the successes of the club and members over the past year. Awards to be presented during the evening include Best Senior and Junior Athletes, Gold Awards and the new Loyalty Awards.
 

Satellite Clubs For Year 4 & Below

Athletes must be in school year 5 and above to join Swansea Harriers. However there are a number of satellite clubs linked to us with partner organizations, that children can attend before progressing to the club. These sessions provide a grounding in fundamental running, jumping and throwing activities, making the transition to Swansea Harriers much smoother:

Saturday 15th December was the Run 4 All fancy dress Santa 5km at Aberavon held in the worst possible weather conditions with a fine victory for Rachel Davies (21.10) in the Womens race and we had just one other runner too in the Mens 7th Wayne Bowen (20.49).

Saturday 8th December were the Welsh Inter Regional Cross Country Championships held at Llandridnod Wells, over a technical course, in difficult underfoot as well as weather conditions the club were well represented in most age categories with all but one running for the West Wales region. Sunday 2nd December was the Welsh Athletics U13, U15 & U17 Indoor Athletics Open Meeting at Cardiff which incorporated the West Wales 200m & 300m Championships. It was great to see such a huge turnout from our juniors with over 70 athletes participating. Highlights included medal winning performances in the track events from:
