Saturday 29th October was the Snowdon Marathon one of the toughest in the World! Five of our members fancied the challenge of this and all performed excellently.

Results Round Up From West Wales Cross Country Championships and Gwent League Round 1

Sunday 16th October was round 1 of 5 of the cross country league for all age groups at sunny Bridgend. The race also incorporated the West Wales Cross Country Championships. It was fantastic to see so many members out representing the club, many thanks to all those who ran and the team managers for coordinating them all.

London Marathon 2017 Places Club Ballot

To take part in the Swansea Harriers Club Ballot for London Marathon 2017 places, you need to have been a paid-up member since MAY 1st 2016, and be able to provide proof that you were rejected via the National Ballot. Also we ask that you can commit to the training and cost involved.
 

Primary Schools Cross Country Fixtures

The West Glamorgan Primary Schools Cross Country league fixtures get underway next week. Schools who enter from  throughout West Glamorgan are split into 6 areas who have 3 league matches each to qualify the top individuals and teams to the county final in the new year. Results Round Up From Llanmadoc

Sunday 25th September was round 1 of 5 of the West Glamorgan Cross Country league at Llanmadoc Gower. The rain held off and despite the strong headwind on the exposed beach run home there were lots of great times achieved. It was fantastic to see so many Swansea Harriers in action.

Results Round Up From Swansea & Birmingham

Sunday 18th September was the Swansea Bay 10K, 5K, 3K & 1K races and the weather was perfect for fast times with little wind and not too hot. The club as expected was really well represented in all four races and there were lots of fantastic performances amongst the 3,200+ finishers, highlights included:
