Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from London & Newtown,

Saturday 11th November M35 Geraint Williams runs a 34.11 for 10km  finishing 16th in Battersea Park, London, well done Geraint!

Saturday 18th November at wet and windy Newtown was the joint Welsh Inter Regional & Welsh Schools cross country championships. Over a winding technical course that was like running through treacle in the very muddy conditions, there were several Swansea Harriers representing their region and or school teams.

U13G 40th Gwennan Grufydd; 57th Lucy Li; 59th Hannah Sullivan & 62nd Aimee Besley, helping the West Wales team to GOLD.

U13B 22nd Isaac Mcadie; 24th Jack Griffiths; 49th Ellis Bennett; 53rd Griff Jones & 54th Bo Cuthbertson, helping the West Wales team to SILVER.

U15G saw a fantastic win for Libby Hale followed home by 4th Holly Humphreys; 6th Millie Pierce; 8th Chloe Hartley-Green; 23rd Ruby Mills; 37th Hannah Jones & 46th Imogen Mcadie, helping the West Wales team to GOLD.

U15B 22nd Osian Morgan, 28th Deri Jones & 30th Jack Sullivan.

U17W 4th Sophie Hartley-Green; 6th Ava Davies; 25th Anna Williams, helping the West Wales team to SILVER.

U20M 12th Tesfaye Shugi, helping West Wales to team GOLD

Senior Women Kirsty Smith was 20th.

Senior Men saw Joshua Griffiths get onto the podium in 3rd; followed home by 5th Jack Turner; 43rd Gabrielius Stuokus for West Wales team  BRONZE.

Women 35+ 6th Joanna Callan for West Wales team BRONZE.

Men 35+ saw a fantastic win for Matthew Rees; 15th Patrick Tudor; 49th Gareth Robbins, for West Wales team GOLD.

Women 45+ 6th Sharon Leech, 27th Jenny Mcadie, 28th Julie Hartley-Green, for West Wales team BRONZE.

Men 45+ 30th Owen Davies; 34th Gair Mcadie, for West Wales team GOLD.

Women 55+ 18th Sian Phillips for West Wales team BRONZE.

Men 55+ 6th Martyn Hughes-Dowdle; 16th Paul Llewellyn for West Wales team GOLD.
