We have plenty of results to round up for you again this week from, Leeds, Ostrava Czech Republic, Bath, Basingstoke, Swansea, Loughborough, Exeter, Aberdare & Carmarthen.
Belated congratulations to SW Shannon Thomas who back on 24th April set a lifetime best of 17:38 for the 3000m Walk in Leeds and followed this up with another 3km personal best again in Leeds finishing in 17:20.83 on Thursday 20th May,
Wednesday 19th May SM David Greene placed 7th over 400m Hurdles against a top class field in the World Athletics Continental Tour in Ostrava Czech Republic in a time of 51.66.
Saturday 22nd May SM Joshua Griffiths sets a lifetime best for 5km road at Bath in the elite Bristol 5km of 14.19, well done Joshua.
Saturday 22nd May SM Guy Smith runs 1:53.45 for the 800m at Basingstoke.
Saturday 22nd May in the sprints and jumps open meeting at Swansea, it was a bit tricky to set fast times with strong headwinds nevertheless there was a great turnout from the club with some great performances set in tough conditions:
Long Jump: SW Lauryn Davey 5.32m; U20M Ryan Price 5.20m and U20W Tiana Evans 3.90m.
100m Hurdles: SW Jodi Beynon 15.02.
High Jump: U20M Addam Bowling 1.80m; U17M Samuel Davies 1.75m; U17M Joseph Beresford 1.70m; U17W Sophia Haden 1.35m and U20W Emily Collins 1.35m.

Sunday at the Loughborough International seven Swansea Harriers had the honour of representing the Wales Senior team V England V Scotland V GB Juniors V British Universities V Loughborough students. Here is how they all got on; SW Carys Jones was 6th in the Pole Vault with a best of 3.60m; SW Hannah Brier was 3rd in the 100m in 11.84 and was part of the 4 x 100m quartet who placed 4th; Daniel Beadsley was 5th in the 200m 21.87 and ran lead off leg in the winning mens 4 x 100m; SM Joseph Brier was 3rd in the 400m 46.88; SM Steffan Jones was 3rd in his non scoring 400m in 48.86; SW Caryl Granville was 5th in the 110m Hurdles 14.10 and 3rd in the 400m Hurdles 58.78. Very many congratulations to them all on some much deserved international call ups.
Tuesday 25th May at the British Milers Club races at Exeter U17W Tiffany Rees runs 2:26.87 for 800m and U20W Bronwen Stratton-Thomas runs 5:04.01 for 15oom, well done both.
Tuesday 25th May in Aberdare at there were plenty of big throws in the Cardiff Throws only event U15B Lewie Jones throws 40.40m in the Discus and 12.73m in the Shot; U20M Oscar Dun threw 13.26m in the Shot and U15G Matilda Quick threw 10.69m in the Shot.
Wednesday 26th May at the Welsh Athletics endurance and triple jump open meeting in Carmarthen. U20M Ryan Price was our sole competitor in the triple jump with a leap of 11.83m. In the 1500m U17M Matthew Lewis was our quickest with 4.48.59 followed by U15G Ava Davies 5:09.86. In the 5000m SM Daniel Morgan was our quickest in 17:57.38 followed home by M50 Paul Flynn 17:58.12; M55 Thomas Guest 18:24.48; SW Gemma Seaman 18:56.37; W45 Helen-Marie Davies 19:26.52; W40 Llinos Jones 19:56.31 and M55 Brian Stevendale 20:07.96. The 800m saw SW Jodi Beynon finish in 2:24.10 and U15B Steffan Higgins in 2:33.65. Well done to them all and was great to see so many of our members out representing the club.
