Results Round Up

This week we have results to round up for you from Aberdare, Cardiff, Bedford & Chepstow:

Tuesday 23rd August saw the Cardiff throws at Aberdare where we had four Swansea Harriers in action; U20M Oscar Dun threw a 12.78m Shot; U17M Ben Fenwick 34.81m Hammer; SW Zoe Dakin 42.67m Hammer and U17W Rebekah Pratt a 36.49m Hammer, well done all!

Wednesday 24th August was the Cardiff Summer Sizzler 5km road race where there was a fine win for Matthew Verran in 15.57 who was followed home by Gemma Tutton as the 3rd Women overall in 18.40, very well done to both on such great races!

Sunday 28th August saw U17M Lewie Jones win an excellent SILVER medal at the England Athletics U15 & U17 Championships in Bedford with a superb throw of 60.27m, congratulations Lewie!

Sunday 28th August was the Severn Bridge 10k & Half Marathon commencing at Chepstow where brand new member  SW Tori Barry was our sole runner in the 10km finishing 38th and in a time of 44.56, well done!
