Results Round Up
This week we just have a couple of event results to round up for you from Monmouth & Pembrey.
Saturday 19th November was the joint Welsh Schools & Welsh Inter Regional cross country championships held at Monmouth Showground, where we had members either representing their region, their school or in some cases both. Very well done to all those who ran, highlights included:
Race 2: Primary School Boys: 11th Isaac Mcadie & 15th Griff Jones.
Race 3: Senior & Master Women & Men 65+ Sioned Howells 5th overall & BRONZE SW; Sophia Harrison 7th overall & 4th SW; Bronwen Stratton-Thomas 33rd overall & 21st SW; Diane Brownhill 62nd overall and 9th W45+.
Race 4: U13G helping the West Wales team to GOLD were; 6th Taylor Shelmerdine; 14th Ella Drew & 24th Hannah Jones.
Race 5: U13B helping the West Wales team to BRONZE were; 28th Osian Morgan and 34th Deri Jones.
Race 6: U15G saw a fine win for Libby Hale who also won team GOLD along with; 6th Holly Humphreys; 7th Ava Davies; 8th Chloe Hartley-Green & 11th Millie Pierce.
Race 8: U17&U20W: saw a superb SILVER for U17W Mai Davies and another superb SILVER for big sister U20W Ella Davies, there was also team U17W SILVER for Mai and 15th Sophie Hartley-Green.
Race 9: U17&U20M: saw U17M team SILVER for 38th Joshua Pritchard; 41st Steffan Higgins & 44th Woody Rees.
Race 10: Senior & Masters Men: M35 individual and team GOLD for Matthew Rees!; SM team SILVER for Luca Cortellese in 7th overall & 6th SM; SM team GOLD for Jack Turner (East Wales) 11th overall & 10th SM; M35 Andrew Cleverley 38th overall & 13th M35+ team GOLD; SM Patrick Tudor 61st overall & 28th overall for SM team SILVER and Charles Walsh 78th overall & 11th M45+ for M45 team SILVER.

Sunday 20th November was the Sospan Road Runners 10 Mile Multi Terrain race at Pembrey Country Park. There was a great turnout from the club. In the mens race Daniel Otteson had great run to get onto the podium in BRONZE (60.53) followed home by 11th Daniel Morgan (64.50); 40th Jamie Cameron (71.11); 53rd Simon Coombes (74.29); 141st Gabrielius Stuokos (87.11) and 146th Chrisopher Jones (87.29).
In the womens race Sioned Howells kept up her recent rich vein of form winning GOLD in a time of (65.11); just behind in SILVER having an equally impressive run was Rachel Davies (66.47); followed home by 4th Luticia Thomas (70.56); 10th (77.52) Sally Munro 13th Diane Brownhill (78.35); 40th Julie Hartley-Green (86.20) and 77th Angela Delaney (94.13).
