Results Round Up

This week we have a couple of results to round up for you from Exeter, Swansea, Barcelona SPAIN & Rome ITALY.

Wednesday 15th March SW Charlotte Campion runs 13.89 for the 100m and jumps a 5.10m PB in the Long Jump in Exeter, well done Charlotte!

Sunday 19th March was the fifth and final round of the West Glamorgan Cross Country League @ Penllegaer Valley Woods for our senior and masters endurance runners. Where in the Men’s race Marc Hobbs had a fantastic win claiming his second back to back win in the league, followed across the line by 5th John Moran, 11th Ake Fagereng; 15th Alan Davies; 16th Hywel Longman, 47th Paul Llewellyn; 66th Michael Williams & 53rd Heath Brett the team ended the season in 5th place in Division 1. In the Women’s race we had just the two runners with 12th Helen-Marie Davies & 58th Angela Delaney but matched the Men’s team and manged to retain the place in Division 1 for next season eventually ending the season in 5th in the league too. Our thanks to all those who represented the club this winter and to all the host clubs. As for the Gwent League we will endeavour to grow numbers in these leagues next winter.
