Results Round Up
This week we have results to round up for you from Reading, Bristol, Knoxville USA, Yeovil & Lampeter.
Sunday 2nd April at the Reading Half Marathon SW Gemma Tutton runs a PB of 81.13 finishing 9th in the Women’s race, well done Gemma!
Friday 7th April was the Bristol Track Club 3k & 5k, which were road rather than track races held in Bath rather than Bristol. In top quality fields we had ten finishers in the 5km, in the Men first home was Jonathan Butler in 6th overall in an impressive 14.30; followed across the line by 18th U20M Finley Hines 15.01; 21st Luca Cortellese 15.05; 25th Blair McWhirter 15.09 and 28th Matthew Rees 15.11 making our top 5 Men. In the Womens 5km we had two finishers with Megan Clements in 24th in 18.17 and U20W Mai Davies in 34th in 18.43. Very well done to all those who ran, click here for the full results.
Friday 7th April in Knoxville USA, Dominic Smith runs another quick 5,000m on track clocking a 15.06.41, well done Domonic!
Saturday 8th April was day 1 of the Yeovil Open Meeting where we had four members in action U20W Lucy Harris threw 35.19m in the Discus; U20W Rebekah Pratt recorded a 30.39m Hammer throw; SW Zoe Dakin recorded a 42.17m Hammer throw and U17M Steffan Higgins a 2.16.42 in the 800m, well done all!
Sunday 9th April was the hilly Teifi 10 Mile Road Race in and around Lampeter, where the evergreen M60 Ifan Lloyd was the first home in his age group and 9th male overall, followed home by 23rd Owen Davies, 77th Gabrielius Stuokus and 78th Christopher Jones, well done all on such good runs over a tough course!
Monday 10th April was Day 2 of the Yeovil Open Meeting where we the two athletes participating U15G Millie Pierce who ran a 5.03.21 for 1500m, and SW Charlotte Campion 4.97m Long Jump, well done both!
