Wednesday 14th June was race 2 of 3 in the Swansea Bay 5km summer series where in very hot weather conditions there was a fine win for Paul Tobin in 15.54, followed home by 5th Craig Jones 16.42, 6th Sam Joseph 16.46; 8th Patrick Tudor 17.40 and 19th Dave Jones 18.36 making our top 5 Men.
In the Womens race there was another fantastic clean sweep of the podium positions with a win for Sioned Howells 17.59; followed home by 2nd Ashleigh Willis 18.31; 3rd Sophie Hartley-Green 19.00; 4th Chloe Hartley-Green 19.26 and 14th Sharon Leech 21.44.

Saturday 17th June was round 2 of the Welsh U11 U13 & U15 Inter Club Challenge at Carmarthen, where we had an excellent turnout of almost 100 athletes, our thanks to all the volunteers who made the event possible. Highlights included our overall top performer in each age group and event as follows:
U11G: Poppy Brannigan 5.58m Long Jump & 2.55.63 800m & 2419 150m; Sofia Morgan 12.2 75m and Ruby Underwood 5.17m Shot.
U11B: Max Burton 3.58m Long Jump; Tomi Jones 3.00.50 800m; Dhruv Mummigatti 8.83m Javelin & 6.07m Shot and Dwayne Chinedu Okwuegbue 11.9 75m & 23.60 150m.
U13G: Katriel Udoh & Millie Jayham both 1.30m High Jump; Georgie Bo-Davies 2.20m Pole Vault; Alice Caldwell 13.74m Discus; Lyla Jonsson 2.38.4 800m; Millie Jayham 12.46 70m Hurdles; Rutendo Chasweka 4.24m Long Jump & 14.36 100m; Maya Petkova 5.90m Javelin; Taylor Shelmerdine 28.76 200m and Somtochi Emenogu 6.07m Shot.

Saturday 17th June SM Jonathan Hopkins runs a fantastic 8.50.56 over the 3000m Steeplechase to finish 11th and SW Verity Ockenden runs a 15.30.30 for 5000m placing 10th in Vienna, Austria, well done both!
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June were the England Athletics U20 & U23 Championships held at Chelmsford where we had XX athletes obtain the tough entry criteria and compete against the very best Junior athletes in the UK. Where U20M Dafydd Jones had an awesome run to win BRONZE in the 3000m recording a time of 8.27.09, he also finished high up in 5th in the 5000m with a 14.52.45! U230M Samuel Davies placed 8th in the High Jump with a best 0f 1.97m; U23M Mitchell Lawrence was 7th in the Long Jump with a leap of 6.47m; U23W Cerys Thomas was 5th in the Hammer with a 50.69m throw and the main highlight of the day was an U18M Javelin event for three invited athletes only where U17M Lewie Jones broke our all time club record for Javelin from 1984 with a throw of 65.23m, amazing Lewie!
Sunday 18th June SM Joseph Brier runs another super fast 400m in 46.22 and U20W Hannah Kinane 2.10.90 for 800m, at Gothenburg Sweden, well done both!
