Results Round Up & Final Club Rankings & Records 2022
This week we have results to round up for you from Swansea & Cardiff, plus our year end club rankings for all age groups and events on track & road, and confirmation of our twelve all time records set in 2022.
Wednesday 14th December was the Afan Nedd Tawe Secondary Schools Sportshall Athletics county trial held in Swansea University. After an absence of 3 years due to Covid 19, there was a small entry, but is was great to see the event happening again and hopefully entries will grow next year as pupils become familiar again with this form of athletics. Very well done to all those club members who took part representing their school teams, in shuttle runs and adapted field events for a sportshall. Those that took part now have a nervous wait over the Christmas holidays to see if they have done enough to impress the selection panel with their all round ability, and get selected for the county team in the Welsh Sportshall final in Cwmbran on Sunday 12th March V Dyfed V Cardiff & the Vale V Eryri V North East Wales V South East Wales V Powys V Glamorgan Valleys school districts.
