Don’t Miss The Closing Date for the U13 U15 & U17 Indoor Athletics Meeting at Cardiff on Sunday 8th January

Sunday 8th January sees part/day 2 of U13, U15 & U17 Indoor Athletics meeting at Cardiff, CF23 6XD. The meeting also incorporates the West Wales (Dyed & West Glamorgan) 800m & 1500m Championships.

Athletes should enter themselves online here before the closing date of 5pm Thursday 17th December or before if events sell out whichever happens sooner. There is no selection for this meeting therefore team managers are not involved, however for any new members it would be prudent to discuss with your coach first if they feel you are ready to go.

Age Groups & Events choices are:

U13 = School years 6 & 7 events: 60m, 60m Hurdles, 800m, 1500m, Shot (girls only) & Long Jump (boys only).

U15 = School years 8 & 9 events: 60m, 60m Hurdles, 800m, 1500m, Pole Vault, Long Jump (boys only) & Shot (girls only).

U17 = School years 10 & 11 events:  60m, 60m Hurdles, 800m, 1500m, Pole Vault, High Jump, Long Jump (boys only) & Shot (girls only)

Our athletes may enter any of the events they wish; however medals will only be presented in the 800m & 1500m, as the West Wales Championships for 60m, 60m Hurdles, Shot, Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump & Pole Vault will be held on home turf in Swansea over the weekend of 18th & 19th February 2023.
