Saturday 3rd December West Wales Cross Country Championships & Round 3 John Collins Gwent Cross Country League @ Pembrey
Saturday 3rd December at Pembrey Country Park, SA16 0EJ sees the West Wales Cross Country Championships incorporated with Round 3 for all age groups and abilities, of the John Collins Gwent Cross Country League. After the amazing start to rounds 1 & 2 we will be hoping for another big turnout in round 3! Please come along to be part of the team and run for your club.
Anyone can run, but to be eligible for West Wales medals athletes must have one of the following qualifications:
A: – Birth; the athlete having been born in West Wales (Dyfed or West Glamorgan).
B: – Residence; a minimum of 9 months continuous residence in West Wales immediately prior to this event.
Runners MUST also be affiliated to a club/Welsh Athletics.
Medals will be awarded at the finish funnel to the top 3 Male & Female finishers in the U11, U13, U15, U17, U20 & Senior age groups. Medals for masters 35-44, 45-54, 55-64 & 65+ will be distributed once the final results have been published.

For those of you new to cross country, on race day arrive no later than 1 hour before your race starts at the club tent, so that you have ample time to warm up, walk the course and sort out any paperwork with your team managers. Course map and timetable below:
