Welsh Athletics U13 U15 & U17 Indoor Fixture Incorporating West Wales Championships

There will be no West Wales Indoor Championships held this winter at Swansea University, as the total track capacity including athletes, volunteers & Spectators is set at 60 whilst the University is under Covid 19 Operations, making the event unviable. However replicating the South & East Wales regions West Wales have received permission to integrate their U13, U15 & U17 Championships within the Welsh Athletics indoor open meetings, the first of which is on Sunday 5th December at Cardiff, CF23 6XD. It is the responsibility of each athletes parent or guardian to enter the athletes in this championship, after discussing with the athletes coach on their readiness to compete.

ATHLETES are permitted to a maximum of 2 events
ENTRY FEES are £6 for one event, £10 for two
CLOSING DATE is Thursday 25th November at 5pm
FINAL TIMETABLE will be sent to all paid entries’ week commencing 29th November
SPECTATOR TICKETS these will become available to purchase week commencing 29th November
COACHES PRE REGISTRATION will become available week commencing 29th November
PLEASE ENSURE ALL ATHLETES SELECT THEIR CORRECT REGION – for us this is West Wales, subject to eligibility of:
BIRTH:- the athlete having been born in West Wales (Dyfed or West Glamorgan).
RESIDENCE:- a minimum of 9 months continuous residence in West Wales immediately prior to this event.

School Years 10&11 = U17M 200m, 400m, High Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put.
