Results Round Up From Cardiff & Elba and last chance for tickets to the junior awards night

Saturday 12th October saw round 1 of 5 in the Gwent cross country league at Cardiff, the race also incorporated the British Cross Challenge round 1, as well as the West Wales selection race for the Welsh Inter Regional Cross Country Championships at Brecon.

Sunday 6th October was the Cardiff Half Marathon where there was another great turnout from our senior endurance runners among the 20,000+ finishers. The weather was kind too, our first five men and women across the line were:

Sunday 22nd September saw an excellent turnout of close to 100 of our members across the 1km, 3km and 10km races at the Swansea Bay 10km with plenty of lifetime bests amongst them. Our top five men and women home were as follows:

Tuesday 3rd September was the Cardiff throws open where, U17M Joshua Wilton threw (13.27m) Shot; U17M Oscar Dun (12.24m) Shot and U20W Gwennan Lewis (10.22m) Shot.

Primary & Secondary Schools Cross Country Fixtures

To participate in any school fixtures, your school MUST be affiliated to the appropriate association; West Glamorgan Primary Schools Athletics Association or the Afan Nedd Tawe Comprehensive Schools & Colleges Athletics Association. In addition a requirement is that a member of staff MUST be present and officiating at the events so their pupild may take part.
