Results Round Up Including 3 club records, from Llanelli, Aberavon, California USA, Swansea, Birmingham, Basingstoke and Llanelli

Wednesday 3rd May was round 2 of 3 in the U11 & U13 Triangular series V Llanelli V Neath @ Llanelli. The team kept up their fine form to win the 2nd match in a row and extend their lead at the top of the league. After 5 days of non stop media commitments Joshua Griffiths and Matthew Rees paid the club a visit on Thursday 27th April, for a presentation for their success and sportsmanship in the London Marathon.

Swansea Harriers Whitford Point Multi Terrain Race Entries Selling Fast!

Wednesday 17th May sees the club host the Whitford Point Multi Terrain Race at Llanmadoc, SA3 1DE With the clubs new found world wide fame thanks to Josh & Matt, entries are selling much faster than usual!

Wow, we have been overwhelmed with the general publics and media agencies phone calls, emails and tweets about Matthew Rees sportsmanship,and Joshua Griffiths Club Record, Commonwealth games A standard and World Athletics Championships qualifying standard, in his first "go" at a Marathon today in London.

Results Round Up From Neath

A quieter week of results to catch up on for a change. 

The U11 & U13 have set the standard for the older age groups to follow in the first league match of the 2017 summer season at Neath on Wednesday 12th April, by winning round 1 of 3 in the U11 & U13 Triangular Series V Llanelli V Neath with 219 points scored. Volunteers Needed & Up Coming Volunteer Courses

We really struggled today to find enough volunteers to run the open meeting whether they were qualified officials or mums and dads helping out. We were also very unlucky to loose our starter "DJ" just before the event began and we whish him a full and speedy recovery. It is vital that more volunteers come forward to help the club fulfill its officiating duties at home and away matches this season, not only for the benefit of our own athletes but those of all clubs.

Lapsed Club Membership Subscriptions
